Sophomore Angie Ronquillo put herself into the school record books this weekend, posting a new program-record time and finishing first among all CCAA runners at the Capital Cross Challenge in Sacramento, Calif. Ronquillo crossed the finish line in 21:16.8, which is the best 6K mark in Pioneer history. The Bakersfield, Calif., native led the Pioneers with a 23rd-place finish in the prestigious event, as No. 24-ranked Cal State East Bay earned 11th overall and fourth among Division II programs.
