Capellino had his best game of the season in Friday's home loss to Sonoma State, scoring 15 points in 27 minutes off the bench. The senior was 7-for-16 from the floor and grabbed six rebounds, four of them on the offensive end to lead the team. The following night, Capellino got the start and led the Pioneers with 33 minutes, notching eight points. The native of South Lake Tahoe averaged 11.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg in the two games, his highest scoring weekend of the year.
