McPherson was the leading overall scorer this week for the women's soccer team as the Pioneers split their final set of home games. In a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over Cal State San Bernardino last Friday, McPherson scored in the 41st minute with East Bay down 2-0 get the team on the scoreboard. Then with the score tied near the end of regulation, the junior assisted on Chace Miguel's game-winning goal in the 87th minute. McPherson paces the Pioneers this season in both assists (3) and total points (11).
