Martin was instrumental in helping the Pioneers to their first CCAA win of the year over San Francisco State on Friday. He assisted on the go-ahead goal, and then scored a late insurance goal to secure the 3-1 victory. It was the first goal of the season for the sophomore from Mt. Eden High School in Hayward. Martin currently ranks second on the Pioneers with three points and four shots on goal for the year.
