Alexa Torres ran a lifetime best 6k time on Saturday at the Santa Clara Invitational, finishing in 22:46.3. The junior led all Division II runners, beat 20 CCAA competitors, and took seventh overall in the field of 205. Torres led the Pioneers to a second-place team finish at the meet, their best of the season. This was thesecond race this fall that she checked in as Cal State East Bay's top finisher.
