Imani Heath has been named Cal State East Bay's Female Co-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 3-9 after leading the Pioneers women's cross country team at the 2014 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships. Heath ran the 6K course at Cal State San Bernardino in 22:59.4, which placed her 13th in the conference and earned her All-CCAA honors. The junior finished the fall as CSUEB's top runner in all five meets, claiming two victories. She's the second Pioneer cross country runner to garner All-CCAA recognition since East Bay joined the conference in 2009. In two weeks, Heath will race at the 2014 NCAA Division II West Regionals in Billings, Montana.
