Jacob Hugger joined Cal State East Bay in 2023 as the Play-by-Play Announcer and Media Coordinator across all sports.

Jacob grew up in Alameda, California with a love for the local sports teams and graduated from Sonoma State in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications. Prior to working for Cal State East Bay Jacob has done play-by-play announcing for Sonoma State University, Holy Names University, Menlo College, and the CCL Bay Area Admirals.
