Abbey Briggs joined Cal State East Bay Athletics in 2022. Starting as a Facilities and Events Intern, she has since been promoted to Facilities and Events Coordinator. She has also served as the All Sports Camp Director. Before coming to Hayward, Briggs was a Game Operations Intern at Menlo College.
Briggs graduated from Menlo College in 2021 with a Bachelors in Sports Management. Also at Menlo, Briggs played volleyball for the Oaks as a middle blocker. Before Menlo, she played volleyball at Fresno City College where the Rams reached the CCCAA Championship match in 2018. At Fresno City College, Briggs was a Second Team All-Central Valley Conference.Â
