AS A JUNIOR (2010): Finished fourth on the team with 41 goals in her first season as a Pioneer…Added 33 assists which ranked fifth on the team…Posted 51 steals as well…Collected both ACWPC and WWPA All-Academic honors.

AT SIERRA COLLEGE: Played two seasons of water polo at Sierra College…Helped the Wolverines capture the 2008 Big 8 Conference title…Finished third at the Nor Cal Tournament and fifth in the state…Named second-team All-Big 8 and first-team All-State as a sophomore…Also swam for two seasons for Sierra…Served as captain for one season…Guided the Wolverines to back-to-back runner-up finishes at State Championships…Collected All-America honors in swimming twice…Part of the 400 medley relay team that set a Sierra College record in 2009.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A four-year letterwinner in both water polo and swimming at Ygnacio Valley High School…Served as captain for two seasons for the water polo team and three years for the swim team…Two-time water polo MVP…All-BVAL honoree…Swimming MVP as a sophomore and junior…Qualified for North Coast Sectionals…Named Athlete of the Year as a junior…Earned the swim team’s Most Inspirational Award as a senior…Participated in Health Academy and the Bowling and Photography Clubs at Ygnacio Valley.

PERSONAL: A nursing major…Hobbies include sports, food, sleeping, the Yankees and coaching…Models herself after New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and Olympic gold medalist Natalie Coughlin…Lists pickles, Chinese food, McDonald’s and her dad’s cooking as her favorite foods…Currently listening to Boyce Avenue’s cover of “Don’t Stop Believing”…Lists “Wedding Crashers,” “The Ringer,” “Remember the Titans” and “The Little Mermaid” as her favorite movies…Has three siblings, Nicole (18), Bianca (16) and Dan (14)…Born Feb. 8, 1989…Parents are Dan and Amy Comforti.
