PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Attended Diable Valley College for two years (2016-2018) running track and cross country...Cross Country- Big 8 Conference- 2nd Place (2016)...Cross Country Big 8- All conference Team B qualifier- 12th Place (2016-2017)...Cross Country Big 8- All conference Team B qualifier- 10th Place (2017-2018)...Academic All State recognition- Cross Country and Track- (2018)...Rossmoore Foundation Scholarship- 2018...Kennedy King Scholarship- 2018
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated from San Ramon Valley in 2016...Ran four seasons of track & field and three years of cross country...Cross Country- NCS 2nd place (2015-2016)...Cross Country State Championships 10th place (2015-2016)...Member of the Interact Club.
PERSONAL: Majoring in Kinesiology...Hobbies include listening to music and spending time with friends and family...Favorite athletes are Mo Farah and Javier Hernandez...Loves eating Italian food especially pizza and pasta and authentic Mexican food...Loves watching all Disney music...Favorite musicians are Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5...Born on June 3, 1998...Parents are Hortencia and Aruro Hernandez...Has three siblings: Luis (23), Marisol (10) and Andrew (4)...Chose Cal State East Bay because "it is the right fit for me. It is close to home which is a big plus since I don't imagine myself going too far away. The school spirit and environment that East Bay shows was something that pulled me towards going there. My brother is currently enrolled in East Bay also so it will be nice going to school with him."
