AS A SENIOR IN CROSS COUNTRY (2015): Competed in the San Francisco Invitational and finished with a time of 30:01.5.
PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Ran Cross Country for Rio Hondo College before coming to Cal State East Bay...was named the MVP in 2012 & 2013....ran the four mile race in 21:17.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Schurr High School in Montebello in 2010...played two seasons of varsity soccer, one season of track and field and one season of cross country...Almond League Champions, Track and Field 2009....was named Most Improved Player in 2009.
PERSONAL: The son of Julio and Electeria Gonzalez...has a brother aged 28 named Michael Gonzalez...likes riding motorcycles and going to the gym in his spare time...favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant...likes to eat pupusa and sea food....favorite TV show is Empire ...favorite movie is 300...favorite musical artist is Eminem and Shrillex...choose Cal State East Bay because of the great weather.
