Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2010-11): Took fifth in the 1650 free with a time of 18:01.25 at the PCSC Championships… Part of 400 medley relay that placed fifth in 3:41.36 at the PCSC Championships…Named CSUEB Bookstore November Athlete of the Month for capturing the 1650 freestyle at both the Bay Area Invitational and a double-dual meet against Fresno Pacific and Biola University…Also won the 500-yard freestyle at the Fresno Pacific/Biola competition.
AT CHABOT COLLEGE: Swam distance events for two years at Chabot College…Collected All-America honors in the 1650 free and 500 free as a freshman…Picked up three All-America certificates as a sophomore in the 1650 free, 500 free and 200 free…Also played one season of water polo at Chabot.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A four-year letterwinner at Encinal High School...Competed in the 200 and 500 freestyle and the 100 fly…Served as captain for one season...Twice named all-conference…A North Coast Section championships qualifier each of her four years…Played two seasons of water polo and ran cross country for one year at Encinal…Swam for the Alameda Alligators, Alameda Islanders and Thunder Bolt Aquatics.
