Biography

AS A SENIOR (2013-14): Earned all-conference finishes in two events at the Pacific Collegiate Swim Championships...Top result was fifth in the 400-yard individual medley (4:36.26)...Took eighth in the 200 breast (2:24.31)...Placed 13th overall at PCSC's in the 200 IM (2:09.61)...Earned Academic All-Conference honors maintaining a 3.5+ grade point average.

AS A JUNIOR (2012-13): Earned all-conference finishes in three individual events at the Pacific Collegiate Swim Championships...Took sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.52), seventh in the 200 breast (2:25.31) and eighth in the 200 individual medley (2:09.71)...Holds school records in both the 100 breast (1:06.46) and 200 breast (2:24.11)...Earned Academic All-Conference honors maintaining a 3.5+ grade point average...Swam the breaststroke leg of both the 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay program record squads...Earned the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award...Currently the Vice President of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12): Broke both the 100 and 200 breaststroke school records which had stood for almost 30 years...Took a second off the 200 breast record...Also part of the record-setting 200 and 400 medley relay teams...Scored 62 points for East Bay at conference championships...Snagged the Pioneers' second piece of hardware at PCSC Championships with a third-place showing in the 100 breaststroke...Also finished fourth in the 200 breast...Helped the 200 medley relay place fourth at conference...Helped the Pioneers post a program-best fifth-place finish at PCSC Championships...Helped the team collect CSCAA Team Scholar honors.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11): Placed 12th with a time of 2:28.81 in the 200 yard breastroke at the PCSC Championships...Recorded a lifetime best of 32.55 in the 50 breast.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Four-year letterwinner at Santiago High School…Competed in the breaststroke and individual medley…Served as a team captain as a senior…Helped Santiago to four-straight CIF Championships appearances…Guided the Cavaliers to a third-place at CIF as a sophomore…Part of four straight league championship teams…Picked up league titles in the 100 breast and 200 IM as a freshman…Won the league title in the 200 IM and finished second in the 100 breast in 2008…Finished sixth at CIF sectionals in the 100 breast as a sophomore…Posted runner-up finishes at league championships in the 100 breast and 200 IM in 2009…Was the league runner-up and 13th-place finisher at CIF sectionals in the 100 breast as a senior…Swam seven seasons for Corona Aquatics…Joined Circle City Aquatics for 2008-10 seasons…Swam for Irvine Novaquatics in 2010…Helped Irvine to a second-place finish at the Summer Junior Olympics in 2010…Placed eighth in the 100 and 200 breast at Junior Olympics…Member of National Honors Society, California Scholarship Federation and Link Crew at Santiago.
