Jenna Wesley was hired as Cal State East Bay’s assistant swimming coach in September 2010. Wesley is involved in all aspects of the swim program including on-deck coaching, recruiting, and traveling.

Wesley joins the Pioneers after spending the last year as head coach of the Larkey Sharks Swim Team in Walnut Creek, coaching over 160 age group swimmers and managing a team of six assistant coaches. She led the Larkey Sharks Swim Team to a second place finish at the Walnut Creek Conference Championships. Wesley was an assistant coach in 2009 and a co-head coach in 2008.

Wesley was part of the Cal Golden Bears Swimming program from 2006-09. She was the Team Manager, helping the coaching staff with clerical work, recruiting, and updating student database during the Cal Bears 2009 Division I National Championship season. Wesley was also an assistant during Cal’s Fall Program.                                                                               

As a swimmer for Cal, Wesley scored at the Pac 10 Championships in the distance freestyle event.

Wesley earned All-American honors as a swimmer at Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego.

She is continuing her education as an Interdisciplinary Studies major at the University of California.
