AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Consistently finished among the Pioneers’ top runners all season as a rookie…Posted her best 6k time of the year in the second race of the season, clocking a 23:48 to finish eighth at Stanislaus, helping the Pioneers finish third overall…Finished seventh at the season-opening Battle of the Bay to help the Pioneers take second…Clocked her best 5k time of the campaign at the Bronco Invitational, crossing the line in 19:32 to help East Bay finish third…Posted East Bay’s third-best time at the CCAA Championships, finishing 70th in a field of 106.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Competed four years in cross country and track at Escondido High School...State qualifier as a junior...Named first team All-CIF...A three-time MVP...Help both cross country and track programs to a pair of CIF Championships...Collected the San Diego Union Tribune’s Student-Athlete Award in 2008…Received Academic Achievement honors all four years...Competed for the Southern California Road Runners…Earned All-American and MVP honors in 2004...Helped the Roadrunners capture three Junior Olympic championships…Also participated in Key Club and Surfrider at Escondido.
