AS A SENIOR (2013):

AS A JUNIOR (2012): Led all Pioneer runners in the CCAA Championships and the NCAA II West Regionals…Posted a time of 23:02.2 to place 23rd and 25th overall in the CCAA Championships…At the NCAA II West Regionals, ran a time of 24:04.33 to  finish 79th and 81st overall.

AT EL CAMINO COMPTON CENTER: Competed in track and field and cross country…Captured several cross country invitationals last year and completed 2011 with a South Coast Conference Title…Led her team to the 2011 Cross Country Conference Championship…Ran a seasonal best time of 18:31 for the 5k…Posted times of 2:14 for 800 meters, 4:48 for 1500 meters and splitting 56 seconds to help her team break the school record in the 4x400 relay as a member of the track team.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Was the number #1 ranked runner in the 800 meters (2:15) and 1600 meters (5:07.04) in the South Bay her sophomore year at Centennial High School…Pioneer league champion in the 800 meters, 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters…Helped her team to three league championships (2004-06)…Named to the honor roll.

PERSONAL: A biology major…Interests include singing, dancing, reading, writing poetry, and running…Favorite athletes are Allyson Felix and Sanya Richards-Ross…Favorite foods are spaghetti and ice cream…Lists favorite movies as Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Superbad and 21 Jump Street…Watches American Dad and World’s Dumbest on T.V.
