AS A FRESHMAN IN CROSS COUNTRY (2016): Finished in 63rd place for 6k at the USF Invitational at Golden Gate Park with a time of 24:25 coming in third place for the Pioneers... Finished in 125th place for 6k at the UC Riverside Invitational in Ontario, California with a time of 23:23... Finished in 102nd place for 6k at the Stanford Invitational with a time of 24:03 helping to get 13th place for the team in the meet... Finished second for the Pioneer women at the SF State Invitational on October 7th for a 36th place finish and a time of 24:00... Finished 83rd at the CCAA Conference Championships in the 6k with a time of 24:43... Finished her freshman Cross Country season off with a 201st place finish at the NCAA Division 2 West Regionals meet in Billings, Montana with a time of 27:44 in the 6k.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated with honors from Granada Hills Charter High School in 2016...lettered in varsity Cross Country and Track and Field all four years...Won two League Championships in 2012 & 2014...Named Track and Field MVP in 2016.
PERSONAL: Majoring in Communications...Hobbies include Yoga, hiking, cooking and going to new/unique food places...Favorite athlete is Luke Laehy...Favorite foods are Sweet potatoes, sour candies and cinnamon sugar pretzels...Her current TV show addiction is Jane the Virgin...Parents are Paula Fong and John Satterfield...Chose Cal State East Bay because " I fell in love with the location of the campus and the people that helped introduce me to the school."...
