Qualified for State as an individual in 2021 and placed in top 50 ... Placed 3rd in Cross Country League Championships in 2021 ... Two time English Student of the Month.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Diana Carlos and Jesus Carlos … Has two sisters: Briana and Christina … Enjoys collaborating with others, binge watching tv shows and movies, reading memoirs, baking and listening to music … Favorite athletes are Amber Schulz, Stephanie Cichosz, Gwen Jorgensen and Katelyn Tuohy … Enjoys eating chicken strips, strawberries, pineapple and dark chocolate … Enjoys watching Stranger Things, Dr. Strange and Top Gun … Enjoys listening to Selena Gomez, Calvin Harris and Megan Thee Stallion … Chose Cal State East Bay because “I was immediately drawn to the goal of many students here. Students at East Bay strive to create a better future for themselves, and to overcome many lifelong obstacles. When I talked to the cross country coaches and runners about my goals, whether they be academic, athletic, or even personal, they showed genuine interest and shared some of their own adversities and how they’ve worked to overcome them. I felt the most welcome and “at home” when I visited East Bay and knew during my visit that this is where I belong."
