Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010): Returned to the team after a season off and scored points in her first race, finishing 15th to help East Bay take second at the Battle of the Bay…Finished third among the Pioneers and eighth overall at Westmont…Clocked her best 5k time of the season (19:36) and finished 45th overall to help the Pioneers take third at the Bronco Invitational…Notched her best 6k time at CCAA Championships, finishing in 23:57 to take 75th out of over 100 runners…Collected CCAA All-Academic honors.
AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Placed fifth at the Cal Pac Championships...Helped Pioneers capture their sixth consecutive conference title...Competed at the NAIA Nationals.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed two years in cross country and track and field at Skyline High School...Twice named All-OAL in cross country...Helped her cross country team win a pair of Oakland Athletic League Championships.
PERSONAL: A biology major…Has three older sisters…Interests include traveling, movies, and musicals...Models herself after Glenn Cunningham…Lists favorite movies as "The Hangover" and the "Bourne" trilogy…Favorite foods are Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, and Korean…Listens to Reggae on her iPod...Chose Cal State East Bay because of the cross country team…Parents are Jone and Epifania Lu.
