Ali Cerminara joined the CSUEB athletics department as an operations intern and assistant softball coach for the 2017-18 season. In the summer of 2018, she was hired full-time as the department's coordinator for marketing, gameday promotion, and revenue generation.
Cerminara graduated from Cal State East Bay in 2017 following one of the most decorated careers in the history of the softball program. She is the all-time leader in career home runs (32) and runs batted in (124, and also ranks fifth all-time in hits (179) and sixth in doubles (35). The Phoenix, Ariz. native was the first CSUEB athlete an any sport to capture All-CCAA honors four straight years. She is also a four-time Academic All-CCAA honoree and earned CoSIDA Academic All-America recognition in 2015.
