AS A SOPHOMORE IN CROSS COUNTRY (2015): Finished fourth at the Cal State East Bay-Holy Names 5k Dual Meet at Garin Park in Hayward...finished 21st at Academy of Art/San Franciscoan the 4x400 relay at the Cal State East Bay Legacy Invitational and team finished with a time of 3:46.76.
AS A FRESHMAN IN TRACK AND FIELD (2015): Competed in five events for the Pioneers....Ran the 1500 three times, best time was 4:21.45 at the S.F. State Distance Carnival...competed in the 5000 meters twice and best time was 16:52.09 at the Hornet Invitational...ran the 4x400 relay at the Cal State East Bay Legacy Invitational and team finished with a time of 3:46.76.
AS A FRESHMAN IN CROSS COUNTRY (2014): Best 8K time was 27:39.1 at the Stanford Invitational. State Tri-Meet.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A 2014 graduate of Twentynine Palms High School... Competed on the cross country team for four years and the track team for three years... Helped both cross country and track claim De Anza League Championships in 2012... Led Twentynine Palms to a seventh-place finish at the 2012 CIF State Cross Country Meet... Individual CIF Cross Country Finalist in 2013... Qualified for CIF Track & Field Finals in all three of his distance events (800m and 1600m in 2013; 3200m in 2014)... Ran the 1600m in 4:34 as a junior... Ran the 3200m in 9:56, a personal best, in 2014... First runner from his school to finish the Mount San Antonio College Cross Country course in under 16 minutes... Graduated with a 3.2 gpa... Involved in the Associated Student Body.
PERSONAL: Majoring in kinesiology... Hobbies include running, riding dirtbikes, and listening to music... Chose CSUEB "because the coaches showed a strong interest in me, I felt that I could contribute to the success of the team, and I also wanted a change of scenery"...
