AS A SOPHOMORE (2009): Recorded a time of 29:34.1 at the CCAA Championships...Placed 37th at the Santa Clara Open Invitational and 63rd at the Desert Twilight Cross Country Festival.

AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Competed in six meets...Recorded two times under 29 minutes including a season-best mark of 28:09.0.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Ran four years of cross country and track at Hayward High School...Served as cross country captain for one season.

PERSONAL: A kinesiology major...Has one younger sister...Interests include running, reading and baking...Models himself after Steve Prefontaine...Lists "Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind" as his favorite movie...Favorite food is enchiladas...Plays the song "These Few Presidents" on his iPod...Chose Cal State East Bay because it was close to home...Born April 18, 1988...Parents are David and Guadalupe Pulido.
