HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Competed four years in track and one season in cross country at Tahoe Truckee High School...Also played three years of football and two seasons of cross country skiing...Helped the cross country skiing team to a pair of California State Championships as a junior and senior...Member of the 4 x 800 winning relay team at the Nevada State Track Championships as a senior...Part of the team that finished second in the state in football in 2009...Also a member of the All-State Academic Team and symphonic and marching bands at Tahoe Truckee High.

PERSONAL: A recreation management major...Has one younger sister...Interests include running, hiking, skiing and mountain biking...Models himself after Steve Prefontaine...Enjoys watching "How I Met Your Mother," "Blue Mountain State" and football...Favorite food is Mexican food...Chose Cal State East Bay because of the running program...Born Sept. 30, 1992...Mother is Dora Gallagher.
