HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A three-year letterwinner at Escondido High School...Spent one season as captain for the Cougars...Earned second-team all-league honors in 2006...Garnered a spot on the all-league first team as a senior...Also captained the Cougar track team, running the 400m, 800m and 4 x 400m relay...Was selected first-team all-league for track in 2007...Helped the track team take home the CIF title as a senior...Finished second at CIF Sectionals in the 800m...Part of the 4 x 400m CIF championship team...Competed in both events at the California State Championship Meet in 2007.
