Jack Cairel was named an assistant coach for the Cal State East Bay men's soccer program prior to the 2016 season.
Cairel has several coaching licenses including an United States Soccer Federation National "A" License, an United States Soccer Federation National "Youth" Licence and National Soccer Coaches Association of America Advanced National and National Licenses.
In 2016, Cairel helped lead the Pioneers to a 6-10-2 overall record in his first season, which marked the program's highest win total since 2007.
A native of Livermore, Calif., Cairel also coaches for Ballistic United Soccer Club in Pleasanton, Calif.
