AS A FRESHMAN (2009): Started 12 games as a rookie before suffering an injury that ended his season...Played nearly every minute of the first 12 games...Helped to anchor the defense.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Earned three varsity letters at Temecula Valley High School...Was the first junior to ever be named captain for the Bears, serving two years in that role...Named team MVP three straight years...Earned first-team all-league honors as a junior and senior...Played five seasons with Arsenal FC...Captained the Gunners each year...Helped guide the squad to two Presidio Premier League titles...Also captured the 2008 Cal South State Cup with Arsenal.

PERSONAL: A kinesiology major...Chose Cal State East Bay for the opportunity to continue his playing career...Models his game after Pioneer Assistant Coach Keith Lambert...Has one older sister, Catie (22)...Born Feb. 2, 1991 to Randy and Nancy Pauley.
