AS A FRESHMAN IN CROSS COUNTRY (2016): Finished in 58th place for 8k at the USF Invitational at Golden Gate Park with a time of 26:13 coming in second place for the Pioneers... Finished in 53rd place for 8k at the UC Riverside Invitational in Ontario, California with a time of 25:36... Finished in 49th place for 8k at the Stanford Invitational to lead the Pioneers with a time of 24:40 helping to get a 12th place team place in the meet and also broke the 8k Cross Country School Record... Paced the Pioneer men at the SF State Invitational on October 7th for a 38th place finish and a time of 27:25... Led the Pioneer men at the CCAA Conference Championships to place 29th in the 8k with a time of 25:47... Finished his freshman Cross Country season off with a 57th place finish at the NCAA Division 2 West Regionals meet in Billings, Montana with a time of 31:54 in the 10k. 


HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated from Arvin High School in 2016... Competed in cross country and track for four years... Crowned South Sequoia League individual champion in varsity cross country (3k) his junior and seniors years and placed in the top-3 individually at CIF Central Section Cross Country Championships both seasons... Three-time SSL champion in the 1,600 meters for the track team... As a sophomore, placed first in the SSL in the 1600, secnd in the 800, and third in the 400... As a junior, placed first in the SSL in the 1600 and the 4x400 Relay, and fifth in the 800... As a senior, tallied SSL championships in the 3200, 1600, and 800 meters... Finished second in the 1600 meters at CIF Division 2 Championships back-to-back years.
