AS A JUNIOR (2011): Competed in every race for the Pioneers as a sophomore... Recorded a personal-best 8k time of 30:55 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational on 10/15.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010): Competed in every race for the Pioneers as a sophomore… Clocked his best 8k time of the season at CCAA Championships, finishing in 31:40.
AS A FRESHMAN (2009): Competed in two races as a freshman… Clocked a time of 18:08 in the 3-mile race at the Desrt Twilight Festival in Arizona… Posted a time of 31:12 in the 8k at CCAA Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A three-year letterwinner in cross country, track and basketball at San Lorenzo High School… Served as cross country and track captain for two years… Competed in the 5k for the Rebel cross country team… Collected second-team all-league honors in cross country twice… Earned the scholar-athlete award... Ran the middle distances for the track team… Also played small forward for the Rebel basketball team.
