AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Competed in every race for the Pioneers, finishing with the best individual time in four of five races. Finished eighth out of college runners at the Mills Invitational on 9/17... Posted his best time of the season at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational on 10/15, finishing in 26:39.
AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Finished 30th overall to open his season at the Cal State Stanislaus Invitational…Posted his best time of the season in the 8k at CCAA Championships, finishing in 28:28 to 52nd of 64 competitors…Collected CCAA All-Academic honors as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A 2010 graduate of Tahoe Truckee High School... Competed four years in track and one season in cross country at Tahoe Truckee... Also played three years of football and two seasons of cross country skiing... Helped the cross country skiing team to a pair of California State Championships as a junior and senior... Member of the 4 x 800 winning relay team at the Nevada State Track Championships as a senior... Named captain and MVP of the track team as a junior and senior... Part of the team that finished second in the state in football in 2009... Member of the All-State Academic team... Participated in symphonic band.
