Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-2020): Provided the Pioneers with major contribution in the breaststroke, IM and medley relay events...Finished the season with 25 top-10 finishes...Finished 6th in the 100 & 200 Breast events at the PCSC Championships...Member of the PCSC Runner-Up 400 Medley Relay team...Member of the 2019-20 PCSC Championship team.Â
AS A FRESHMAN (2018-2019): Contributed to the team in the breaststroke and IM events...At the PCSC Championships, made her first A-Final appearance, placing 8th in the 100 breaststroke with a best time of 1:06.43, placed 6th in the 200 breaststroke with a best time of 2:24.24...Finished 12th in the 100 IM (1:01.93)...Swam the 200 IM (2:13.77).Â
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Wenatchee HS in Washington in 2017...Was a varsity swim team member all four years...As a team finished top four at Washington State Championships all 4 years and 2nd place during her senior year...Was a three-time individual state qualifier...two-time State Championship finalist (2016 & 2017). Swam club for Velocity Swimming.Â
PERSONAL: Undeclared major.. Born 04/25/1999...Parents are Bruce Herring anf Julie Bay...One sibling Nathan (16)... Enjoys traveling, hiking, and listening to music...Favorite foods are mac & cheese and anything with chocolate...Favorite musicians are Ashe and Quinn XCII... Chose East Bay because "I loved the supportive and motivated atmosphere of the team, and the Bay Area felt like a really great place to go to school".
