She enjoyed another outstanding season as a Pioneer capped off by setting the program record for the 1650 Free event with a time of 17:04.65...Participated in the freestyle, backstroke, and relay events...Finished the season with 26 top-10 finishes, including four first place finishes...Earned the PCSC Championship crown in the 1650 Free event...Placed 3rd in the 1000 Free and 5th in the 500 Free events at the PCSC Championships...Placed 39th in the nation at the NCAA Division II Championships in the 1000 Free.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018-2019): Began the season at the Collegiate Winter Invitational winning the 500 freestyle with a personal best time and a NCAA B cut of 5:00.28...Placed 4th in the 200 freestyle (1:55.59)...Won the 1,650 freestyle simultaneously breaking two school records in the 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle (10:22.53 & 17:12.54)...Was a member of the winning 800 freestyle relay (7:40.13)...At the PCSC Championships started the met with a second place finish in the 1,000 freestyle (10:26.50)...Was the top finisher for the team in the 500 freestyle placing 5th (5:01.12)...Became the PCSC Champion in the 1,650 freestyle, improving her school record by nearly 2 seconds (17:10.51)...At the NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships in Indianapolis Wayment competed in the 500, 1,000, and 1,650 freestyle...Finished 29th in the 1,00 freestyle (10:23.12), moving up 4 spots from her 33rd seed...Finished 43rd in the 500 freestyle (5:04.99)....Finished 26th in the 1,650 freestyle (17:19.01).
AS A FRESHMAN (2017-2018): Wayment came in strong, dominating the distance events for the Pioneers. At the PCSC Championships...Set a program record in the 1000 Freestyle (10:25.34) with a ninth place finish...11th place in the 500 Freestyle (5:08.33)...Another record breaking performance in the 1650 Freestyle (17:22.58) placing seventh.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated from Chatfield High School in 2017...Swam all four years... 2016 and 2017 League champion in both the 200 and 500 freestyle...2017 League Champions...4th place in the 500 freestyle at State Championships...2017 Jeffco League Swimmer/Diver of the Year.
