LIVERMORE, Calif. – The Cal State East Bay men's cross country team swept the top 15 finishing positions in the 3K at the Chabot Twilight, led by an individual victory from Phillip Logan.

Logan led the way for the Pioneers, crossing the finish line first with a time of 8:32.71. Yosef Amaha followed in second at 8:57.88, while Nestor Alvarado took third in 9:01.06.

East Bay continued to fill the top of the results, with Dylan Baptista placing fourth in 9:01.30 and Elijah Fordham taking fifth in 9:05.01. Ethan Stockdale followed in sixth at 9:12.31, Azarel Barrios Meza took seventh in 9:14.73 and John Funderburg IV finished eighth in 9:15.39.

Brandon Simpson crossed ninth in 9:21.33, followed by Jhann Alvarez in 10th at 9:28.10. Joaquin McGee took 11th in 9:34.53, while Carlos Villagomez finished 12th at 9:38.02 and Logan Phulps placed 13th in 9:43.17.

Noah Arreola and Ezekiel Lloyd completed East Bay's sweep of the top 15, finishing just seven-hundredths of a second apart. Arreola crossed in 10:04.92, followed by Lloyd in 10:04.99.

The Pioneers showcased their depth throughout the race, occupying every position from first through 15th and placing 13 runners under the 10-minute mark.
