SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's soccer team was unable to overcome an early deficit Friday afternoon, falling 5–0 to Cal State San Bernardino in a CCAA matchup. The Pioneers moved to 5-7-2 overall and 3-3-1 in CCAA play with the loss.
San Bernardino struck first just 1:23 into the match when Jackeline Fuentes scored and then added another less than three minutes later on a goal by Emilee Perez. Perez added her second goal in the 24th minute, giving CSUSB a 3–0 halftime lead.

The Coyotes extended their lead shortly after the break, with Cervantes scoring in the 46th minute and Jaclyn Silva adding a goal in the 78th to cap the scoring.
