Daniela Passoni was named WWPA Defensive Player of the Week after the first two matches of the 2024 season for the Pioneers.
Passoni, who has a strong collection of accolades, just added one more this week after going 1-1 protecting the Pioneer cage with a .548 save percentage against two NCAA Division opponents. Passoni made 12 saves against Santa Clara and 11 against then No. 16 Pacific. She also had a pair of steals against SCU.
