Cal State East Bay men's soccer opens CCAA play with a pair of road matches Friday and Sunday. The Pioneers will take on No. 2 Chico State on Friday and Stanislaus State on Sunday in Turlock.

The Pioneers won their only match last week as they defeated Cal State San Marcos 1-0 last Saturday in a non-conference contest.

Farnan netted his fourth goal of the season last Saturday in a 1-0 win at CSUSM. He leads the Pioneers in goals (4) and points (9).Â

No. 2 Chico State is 7-0-0 on the season. Miles Rice leads the Wildcats with five goals, which is second-most in the CCAA. Emanuel Padilla has a 0.302 goals against average which is the lowest in the CCAA thus far this season.Â

Stanislaus State is 3-4-0 heading into Friday. Tyler Tipton leads the CCAA with seven goals and was the most recent recipient of CCAA Offensive Player of the Week. Before the Warriors and Pioneers meet on Sunday, Stanislaus State hosts Cal State San Marcos on Friday.Â
