DAY TWO RECAP: Women's Golf at CCAA Championships

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The second round of the 2023 CCAA Women's Golf Championships teed off Tuesday morning at Victoria Club. Cal State East Bay women's golf lowered its team score by 12 strokes in the round from the first round and remain in fifth place for team scoring. 

The lowest individual second round score for CSUEB was from Arrianna Custodio, who carded a 75 to climb the leaderboard into a 17th place tie. Her best run was on the back-9 making one birdie and eight even par holes. 

Jasmin Krishna reached the top-10 as the current lowest scorer for the Pioneers, sitting in a sixth place tie at 9-over-par 153 (77-76). She had two birdies on Tuesday. 

Also sitting in the top-20 for CSUEB through two rounds is Mandi Granato, tied for 11th place (+11) and Julika Grosspietsch in 17th place tie (+17). 

Cal State San Marcos leads the team scoring going into Wednesday's final round and Caroline Wales of CSUSM holds the top spot on the leaderboard at 2-over-par 146.
