HAYWARD, Calif. – The Cal State East Bay women's soccer team hosted its first CCAA home match of the season on Friday and dropped the contest to\to Sonoma State, 2-0. Two goals scored by SSU in the match's late minutes made the difference.
- A long pass from Julia Horner-Bell set up an opportunity in front of the net for Lexi Zandonella-Arasa to score her conference-best eighth goal of the season for a 1-0 lead in the 85th minute.
- With just 22 seconds remaining in regulation, Andrea Lozano netted her first goal of the season to give the Seawolves a 2-0 lead. Malia Falk assisted on Lozano's goal.
Cal State East Bay: 2-4-3, 0-2-1 CCAA
