OAKLAND, Calif. - The Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) announced the 2022 WWPA Women's All-Academic Team on Monday. Thirteen members of the 2022 Cal State East Bay Women's Water Polo program were honored for their success in the classroom.

To qualify, a student-athlete must meet the following criteria:

• Be an active participant of their team having competed in at least 50 percent of games in the current season.
• Have a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Classified as a full-time student for all terms of attendance.
• Completed a minimum of one semester or two quarters at their institution.
