Overview

CSU East Bay will have two games this weekend with a matchup at CSU Monterey Bay in WWPA play in Seaside on Friday and will return home to start a five-game homestand against UC Irvine on Saturday. 

History 

Pioneers vs. CSU Monterey Bay - The Pioneers are 20-6 against the Otters. The Pioneers have won the last twelve against the Otters including a 13-4 victory in Davis on January 22nd. 

Pioneers vs. UC Irvine – The Pioneers are 0-3 against the Anteaters. The last time the two teams met was in February 2019.

Three Players to Watch 

Leti Mosqueda – The junior from Stockton, California is fourth on the Pioneers in goals (23) and had a hat trick with an assist last Saturday at Fresno Pacific. 

Daniela Passoni – The sophomore from Waverly, South Africa has a .652 save percentage in WWPA play and has allowed only 4.57 goals in two appearances in WWPA play.

Caroline Vollmer – The freshman from Krefeld, Germany had two goals for the Pioneers in their last game. She has six goals on nine shots in nineteen games played.

Last Weekend

The Pioneers cruised in a 16-6 victory over Fresno Pacific in WWPA play on Saturday in Clovis. The Otters lost 8-7 to Biola University in La Mirada while the Anteaters defeated #10 Long Beach State 11-7. Before Friday's matchup between CSUMB and the Pioneers, the Otters face San Diego State on Thursday.
