SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – At The Den on Friday evening, the Cal State East Bay men's basketball team dropped a CCAA matchup, 102-58 to No. 15 Cal State San Bernardino. Leading the Pioneers in scoring was
Kevin Ebiriekwe with 11 points.
The Coyotes jumped out to an early lead and didn't look back. They limited Cal State East Bay to single digit points until the 8:52 mark of the first half when
Grady Lewis made a jumper. The Pioneers still trailed 30-11. That was the final basket of the game in which the lead was less than 20 points for CSUSB.
The lead only grew in the second half, as the Coyotes scored the first six points of the half. CSUSB finished the evening with a 102-58 win.
- Ebiriekwe finished with a team-high 11 points, going 3-for-4 in both field goals and free throws.
- Chris James had five rebounds for the Pioneers.
- Defensively, Julian Lopez had three steals.
- For Cal State San Bernardino, Darius Mickens scored a game-high 18 points and reached a double-double with 10 rebounds.
