The Cal State East Bay women's swim team will look for a strong finish to the 2022 fall season in the La Verne Winter Invite. The meet features 14 teams from multiple NCAA divisions and NAIA. NCAA Division II opponents, in addition to the Pioneers, include Alaska, (RV) Azusa Pacific, Biola, Concordia (Calif.) and No. 17 Simon Fraser.

SWIMMERS TO WATCH

Kylie Beaudet
Beaudet was on the first place relay team in the Slug Shootout in the 400 yard medley relay. Individually, she was a top finisher in the 400 yard individual medley with a time of 4:34.14 during the first meet day.

Brooklyn Dressel
Dressel, in October's Slug Shootout, had five first place finishes individually and was on four relay teams that placed first throughout the back-to-back meets. Her outstanding performances earned her PCSC Female Swimmer of the Week.

Emilie Giannini
Placing first in the 200 yard freestyle was Giannini in day one of the Slug Shootout with a time of 1:57.12. She also placed second in the 500 yard freestyle during the meet.
