Following the game, Cal State East Bay head coach
Bryan Rooney spoke about the exhibition game:
"First, we would like to thank Coach Alford and his staff for the opportunity to play. Tonight's exhibition gave our team an excellent opportunity to learn where we are. Especially in the first half, we learned that when we battle together we have the makings of what could be a good team. We also learned the importance of consistency - in the second half we experienced how a high quality opponent take advantage of inconsistency."
The Pioneers return to action in their season opener on Friday, November 11 against Fresno Pacific on the campus of Stanislaus State at 5:30 p.m.
