East Bay Drops Road Contest at No. 19 Cal State LA

LOS ANGELES — The Cal State East Bay men's soccer team dropped a tough road match against No. 19-ranked Cal State LA, 3-0, on Friday evening at Jesse Owens Track.

Junior Josh Gaeckle recorded two shots on goal and three total shots to lead the Pioneers, while sophomore Aaron Farnan had one shot on target. Junior goalkeeper Kelekolio Mateo Jr., finished with four saves inthe net.

CSUEB (2-6-1, 1-2 CCAA) resumes this weekend's road trip against Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday, Oct. 10 beginning at 2 p.m.
