HAYWARD, Calif. — 
The Cal State East Bay men's soccer team continues conference play this week with a home contest against Chico State on Friday, Oct. 22, beginning at 4:30 p.m., before taking on Cal State San Marcos on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 11:30 a.m.

Both contests will be streamed live on CCAA Network, and live stats will be available.

CSUEB (2-9-1, 1-5 CCAA) has split its last two home contests played at Pioneer Stadium, and is coming off a road defeat at Humboldt State on Oct. 17. East Bay is 2-2 all-time against Cal State San Marcos and 1-12 all-time against Cal State San Bernardino.

Sophomore defender Aaron Farnan scored his first-career goal in the 78th minute of the Pioneers' road loss at Humboldt State off the first-career assist from fellow sophomore Mason Yelton.

Junior Josh Gaeckle leads CSUEB this season with three goals and seven total points.
