HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay men's basketball team begins a three-game homestand to close the 2019 calendar year this week, as the Pioneers play host to conference foes Cal State San Bernardino on Thursday, Dec. 12, followed by Humboldt State on Saturday, Dec. 14.
Both contests will be streamed live and are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday's contest against Cal State San Bernardino is themed "Throwback Jersey Night."
Cal State East Bay (7-3, 3-1 CCAA) has won two-straight games and three of its last four after picking up a home win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Dec. 5, as well as a road victory at rival San Francisco State on Dec. 7.

Zafir Williams scored a game-high 15 points along with three steals in the win against Dominguez Hills, while junior forward
Josh Dhatt and senior forward
Ant Navarrete scored 19 points apiece in the road win over the Gators.
The Pioneers split two contests against Cal State San Bernardino (6-2, 1-1) last season, with each team winning on the road. CSUEB won its only matchup against Humboldt State (5-4, 1-3) last season in Hayward.
Following this week's action, Cal State East Bay closes out the 2019 calendar year with a home game against Stanislaus State on Sunday, Dec. 22, beginning at 3 p.m.
