HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay men's basketball team returns to action this week with two non-conference contests, including a home game against Fresno Pacific on Saturday, Nov. 30, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday night's game at Pioneer Gym against Fresno Pacific is themed "International Night," as CSUEB recognizes its students studying abroad, including men's basketball Australian natives senior guard Trent Warren and freshman forward Corey Fiddes.

The Pioneers begin the week with a road contest at Saint Martin's on Wednesday, Nov. 27, with opening tip set for 1 p.m. A live stream and live stats will be available for both games this week.

CSUEB (4-2, 1-1 CCAA) split its first two California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) contests last week, earning an emphatic 79-49 home win against Cal State LA on Nov. 21, before being tripped up in a road game at Chico State, 81-71, on Nov. 23.

Junior forward Zafir Williams had another big weekend for the Pioneers, posting two double-doubles to begin conference play.

Williams recorded 26 points on 11-of-14 shooting with 11 rebounds against Cal State LA, before following it up with 26 points and 10 rebounds on the road against Chico State. He leads Cal State East Bay in scoring and rebounding this season and is tied for third with seven made 3-point field goals.

In addition, sophomore guard Jesse Galloway scored 12 points in the win over Cal State LA, while senior Ant Navarrete and junior Nai Carlisle finished with 10 points apiece at Chico State.

CSUEB is 3-0 all-time against Fresno Pacific and 0-1 in its lone meeting against Saint Martin's.
