Box Score HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's soccer team's three-game winning streak came to an end on Sunday afternoon, as the Pioneers lost a close match to Cal State LA, 1-0.
The two teams played to a scoreless tie on a severely windy afternoon until Cal State LA scored the game's only goal in the 68th minute. CSUEB had won four of its last five games overall prior to Sunday's setback.

Cal State East Bay (5-6-3, 4-3-1 CCAA) returns to action next weekend with road contests in Southern California against Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 1, and at Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 3.
