BELMONT, Calif., -- The Cal State East Bay women's soccer team completed the non-conference season with a road shutout loss t0 Notre Dame De Namur Sunday afternoon, September 10 at Koret Field.

The loss drops East Bay to just under .500 on the season as they currently sit 2-3-0.

The Argonuats held the advantage in shots 15-7 including an 8-4 shot on goal edge. Both teams both recorded four saves.

Miranda Gonzalez and
Carsyn Hoogendoorn paced the Pioneers with two shots and a shot at the frame apiece.
Nae'lani O'Neal and
Eliana Mendoza both had a shot and shot on goal each.
Tori Larsen also attempted one shot for CSUEB.

The Argonauts held a 1-0 lead at halftime after putting in a shot in the 25th minute of action. NDNU would add three more goals in the second half of play with scores in the 46th, 61st and 78th minutes of play.

Ina Gonzalez logged 90 minutes in the box for East Bay and tied her career high with four saves.

East Bay will begin California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action with home games against Humboldt State on Friday, September 15 at 4:30 p.m. and on Sunday, September 17 at 11:30 a.m. Both matches will be held at Pioneer Stadium.
