HAYWARD, Calif – The Cal State East Bay women's soccer team will complete the 2016 regular season schedule with visits to both of their California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Bay Area rivals. East Bay will play San Francisco State on Thursday, October 27 and finish the season with a visit to Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday, October 29.
 
WEEK IN REVIEW
The Pioneer women closed its home schedule with losses to Cal State San Marcos 0-1 and eighth ranked UC San Diego 0-6.
 
Senior Andrea Hernandez led East Bay with three shots throughout the week, including one shot on goal. Megan Ravenscroft, Aulani Fernandez, Tia Sidtikun and Nicole Stamper all attempted one shot apiece.
 
Senior Jasmine Corbett finished the week with six saves CSUEB.
 
PIONEER POINTS
CSUEB is has scored 11 goals on nine assists while allowing 28 goals through 16 games this season. The Pioneer women have racked up 56 saves on the year.
 
Senior Megan Ravenscroft leads the team with five goals, 10 points, 35 shots and 22 shots on goal, while starting all 16 games.
 
Tia Sidtikun is second on the squad with two goals and 12 points. She also has one assist.
 
Savannah Schultz, Nicole Stamper and Andrea Hernandez are all tied for the team lead with two assists each.
 
Senior Jasmine Corbett is fourth in the CCAA with 56 saves. She has also started all 16 games for the Pioneer women.
 
SCOUTING SAN FRANCISCO STATE
The Gators have won three or their last four games, with wins over Cal State San Marcos, Humboldt State and UC Santa Cruz. SF State has scored 20 goals on 22 assists through 16 games. They have only allowed 13 goals from opponents this season. Sierra Sagasta is ninth in the CCAA with five goals scored, while teammate Autumn Fox is sixth in the conference with six assists.
 
SCOUTING CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
The Otters won their last outing 1-0 against UC Santa Cruz. Monterey Bay has scored a conference low nine goals with seven assists while allowing 26 goals through 15 games this season. Ashlee Cortez leads Monterey Bay with four goals. Madison Aquirre has a team-leading two assists for the Otters.
