HAYWARD, Calif – The Cal State East Bay men's soccer team will complete its 2016 regular season schedule as they pay visits to both of their California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Bay Area rivals. The Pioneers will square off against San Francisco State on Thursday, October 27 and Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday, October 29 to finish off the regular season.

WEEK IN REVIEW
CSUEB came away with a tie and one loss this past week. The Pioneers played to a draw agaisnt Cal State San Marcos and fell 3-0 to 10th ranked UC San Diego.

Senior
Zach Leon paced the Pioneers with three shots last week.
Kalvin Conley and
Luis Lopez also attempted two shots each for East Bay.

Freshman
Carlos Moreno lead the Pioneers with four saves through two games.

Cal State East Bay has scored 21 goals on 13 assists, while allowing 28 goals trough 16 games so far this year. The Pioneers have accumulated 58 saves on the season.

Junior Michael Pavia leads the Pioneer attack with four goals this season.
Victor Calderon and
Preston Hale have put in three goals each, while
Christian Gonzalez Luis Lopez and
Kalvin Conley all have two goals apiece.

Calderon carries the team lead with three assists. Hale and
Steffen Sauer have two assists each for East Bay.

Carlos Gonzales has a team-leading 19 saves so far during the 2016 season.
Douglas McNeill is second with 18 and
Ariel Rosenmann has 15 saves respectively.

SCOUTING SAN FRANCISCO STATE
The Gators are 1-1-1 in their last three games, with a loss to Humboldt State, a tie at Sonoma State and a win over UC Santa Cruz. SF State has put in 19 points on 16 assists, while only allowing 12 goals so far this year. Richard Leon is fourth in the CCAA with seven goals for the Gators. Goalkeeper Emmanuel Jimenez is fifth in the conference with five shutouts, sixth with 52 saves.

SCOUTING CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
The Otters are on a current two game win streak with victories over Humboldt State and Holy Names University. Monterey Bay has scored 15 goals on 14 assists, while allowing 23 goals from opponents. Adam Voloder is seventh in the CCAA with four assists and eighth in the conference with four goals. Goalkeeper Andrew Garcia leads the Otters with 27 saves through six games this season.
